Have you been wondering whether to try Kambo?

Here is a list of pros and cons to help you decide:

Pros: Kambo medicine, a therapeutic secretion from the Amazonian giant leaf frog, has been touted for its potential health benefits. It is said to improve physical strength, increase endurance, and be a powerful treatment against a variety of ailments such as chronic pain, addiction, depression, and infertility - to name a few.

Cons: You will most likely face your fear - as with everything new and unknown, it’s normal and to be expected (to some extent). However, if you are experiencing acute fear, it might be beneficial to consider a prep session with our facilitator to address any deeply rooted causes of this acute fear to clear them or find a different solution to your problem.

Pros: The traditional medicine community praises Kambo for its detoxifying properties and the ability to boost the immune system.

Cons: Bodily sensations such as accelerated heart rate, increased blood pressure, feeling hot and dizzy are common. This is normal and the risk of harm is low as long as you follow the guidelines given to you by your facilitator and are honest about your health and medications.

In most cases, Kambo causes nausea and vomiting - this is part of the cleansing and healing process. It is usually quite short but can be felt as intense. If you feel intimidated by this idea, you are welcome to have a prep session with our facilitator to set you up for success.

Pros: People who have tried Kambo medicine often report feeling more energetic, mentally alert, and clear.

Cons: Kambo is not a regulated form of medicine, meaning its preparation and application can vary greatly from practitioner to practitioner therefore it is of utmost importance to choose a practitioner with care.

Pros: Kambo medicine is revered for its healing properties. It has been traditionally used by many tribes in South America as a spiritual cleanse.
